I have PHPMyAdmin installed and working in its own right.
In the ‘Servers’, ‘MySQL’ configuration, I have set the correct URL and the POST method with pma-username=[USER] and pma_password[PASSWORD] set.

When I click ‘Browse Database’ in MSPControl, MyPHPAdmin opens as refuses to connect with the username of:

    ‘theactualuser’@’panel.mydomainname.co.uk’

The textbox actually says only ‘theactualuser’ and if I then manually type in the pwd – it connects fine.
Is this a PHPMyAdmin configuration issue, a MySQL user creation issue, or a MSPControl misconfiguration problem.

    Many Thanks
    Paul

Just to be clear, those are typos above in the pma user and password

Something is not configured correctly Paul. I can’t say what exactly, but logs probably can tell more.

Which logs would I need to look at? I dont know where the problem lies as PHPMyAdmin seems to work in itself, and so does MSPControl.

Bashing my head against a brick wall here!….and it hurts 🙁
