Now that I am somewhat able to add the MySQL service to my server I am seeing that the MySQL 8 options on the License is disabled or Zero’d out. I should have at least the published base 300 option. How to do refresh this to correct the issue? See attached image for example of the License error

    • up to 300 MySQL databases

Thomas, if you’re using free license, try to update it or request from scratch, limits should be okay.

If it’s paid, send me your license SID to d@hosting.build

I deleted the license and created a new one and still get the same results

Now that the MySQL Connection issue that I was having has been resolved. I need to figure out why MySQL 8 has been unlicensed or disabled. I have noticed that all UNIX related entries are also disabled. I think you need to refresh the free license again. I have tried to refresh my current license and received an error listed below:

    Error:

Could not update license. Please see menu Account -> Audit Log for details. If you use a proxy please specify it on Settings -> System Settings page. Please contact support if you have any problems.

    Audit Log:

    00:00:20 https://mspcontrol.virtuworks.net:443

00:00:20 One or more errors occurred. at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.ThrowIfExceptional(Boolean includeTaskCanceledExceptions) at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.Wait(Int32 millisecondsTimeout, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at MSPControl.EnterpriseServer.HttpClientHelper.PostData[T](HttpClient client, String baseAddress, String url, T license) at MSPControl.EnterpriseServer.LicensingHelper.UpdateLicense(String licenseXml, ProxySettings proxySettings)

00:00:20 An error occurred while sending the request.

00:00:20 Unable to connect to the remote server at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetRequestStream(IAsyncResult asyncResult, TransportContext& context) at System.Net.Http.HttpClientHandler.GetRequestStreamCallback(IAsyncResult ar)

That appears to be a connection issue to the License Server. So I tried again a few minutes later and it did complete the license update.

    License has been updated successfully

I went back and looked at the License for MySQL 8 and went ahead and reviewed the other options. MySQL 8 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019 appears to be completely disabled. See attached screen shots for reference. The last time I had this issue someone from the Company emailed me a License File that I manually uploaded to the server to correct the license issue.

    mysql8-license
    hosting-addon-mysql8
    mysql5-license

It would be nice if there was a client portal that we could manage the issued license for our servers. Be able to update addresses, delete and create new licenses etc. Just a thought.

I was able to go in and import the resource to the clients account. However we are unable to do anything from the portal. As you can see from the attached image (DB,User Masked) the database and user is there, but the system reports 0 of 0.

I am still unable to do anything with MySQL.

The licensing for my server is hosed. I have emailed and requested a new license file, however I did not get a response back from anyone. My customers are unable to use the MySQL function of the software. This is a huge problem now since this issue started three weeks ago. Please fix the license system or remove the requirement for basic users. How can I grow my business to afford your license costs if I cant even support my current users?

    Current Version

    Database (2125, 8/11/2019 6:15 PM, Status: Ok)
    Enterprise Server (2.0.0.1219)
    Portal (2.0.0.1219)
    SRV-XXXX (2.0.0.1219)

I have the License file that you sent, and have updated the server. Everything, including my other licensing issues, was addressed with this update. I can finally focus on building my company again.

    thank you!
