I have upgraded to the current version of the software in hopes that someone has finally resolved the MySQL 8 issue that I am having. I downloaded the installer from the site and ran it on the server, since the automatic upgrade schedule does not work at all. Now I am getting the following error. Here is what the log reports:

I have downloaded and ran the current installer for 1074. I am still getting the database migration error. I cant tell you the exact error because the site has blocked it as spam.

However I just noticed that 1075 now shows the latest version on the site. Maybe that is your fix? I will download it and try again and report my findings.

Sent to Developers, sorry we are removing some older providers which seem to cause this issue.

I have upgraded to the current version 2.0.0.1088 and it appears to have corrected the reported error.
