In the latest build of MSPControl we have enabled the Encryption of additional fields in our continued effort to bring MSPControl and the source to a level we feel is compatible with the current threat stage. Moving forward the following fields will now be encrypted. In an effort to support all senarios, we are supporting an unecrypted field to remain in database but this requires additional work from SQL to first attempt Decoding to then fall back to Plain Text. We recommend to properly backup your database and click the Enhance Encryption on System Settings to Encrypt all Plain Text Values that currently exist in the database.

Here is a list of newly encrypted fields.

    New Encryptions:
    SystemSettings.PropertyName in (‘RechaptchaPrivateKey’,’RechaptchaPublicKey’,’TwilioAccountSid’,’TwilioAuthToken’)
    ExchangeAccountsArchives.Name
    ExchangeAccountsArchives.ArchivePath
    ExchangeOrganizationSettings.Xml
